Caring for the environment

Through the years, PacRep has recognized the importance of working toward a greener environment, and has taken big steps to reduce its impact.

1. 2015–2016

The Golden Bough Playhouse becomes an environmentally friendly, self-sustaining home for cultural entertainment and arts education. With one of the largest south-facing rooftops in Carmel, the playhouse is ideal for solar power, providing clean energy and eliminating its carbon footprint.

2. 2016

PacRep invests in rechargeable microphones for its performers, eliminating throw-away batteries.

3. 2019

The next "green" project begins: eliminating plastics from concessions and refreshments. With the Golden Bough Phase II remodel complete, water refill stations are now installed.
