Beetlejuice Jr. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the movie Beetlejuice, with music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Eddie Perfect and a book by Tony-nominated pair Anthony King and Scott Brown, based on the Geffen Company picture with a story by Michael McDowell & Larry Wilson.
It tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a teenager still grieving the loss of her mother. Her father moves her to a new house haunted by a recently deceased couple and Beetlejuice, a demon with a zest for life. A blend of comedy and dark humor with a unique perspective on death and the afterlife.
